Thursday 6/1/2000 Yesterday we listed our house.

Yesterday was a day of money, money, money.

In the morning, my contact at my consulting agency gave me the news that he had figured out a way for me to get a pretty substantial rate increase, and that it was retroactive to day one, and that I'd get a happy check next week.

The afternoon was spent in the throes of Apache Configuration, and Mod Perl config.

The evening: we listed our house. We are looking to get a bit more money than we thought, and we learned that one of our rentals is worth more than we had planned on.

Upshot: money all over the place.

After listing the house, at 9:45, I went out and programmed for Walker. Pushed that until almost 1:30.

And now the world waits, like an oyster smiling happy at the shucking knife.
