Wed 2/20/2002-part two Palindrome Date: Installing a NoCat Node takes a bad twist.

8:20 pm...just mised 2/20/2002 20:02, our palindrome date and time. I missed it because I just bundled the little kids into the car, had to wake Maddy from her nap, in order to rush Rob to Palm Drive Hospital.

That wasn't supposed to happen.

"Can I help you out there?"

"Sure" and I heard Rob climb out the window, and walk towards me. I had a mouthful of nail in cable holders, and was hammering one in. Then I heard bad things.

Ladders falling and thuds, and bangs, and moans. People falling off of the roof sounds.

I turned to the edge of the roof in time to see Rob make it down the last couple of stairs and onto the driveway. Unfortnately, he was rolling.

My jaw dropped, and I slowly processed it all. When I saw him move, slowly, but moving, I was able to breathe. I asked him, dumbly, if he was okay. He indicated that he might need a bit of help.

He sat, and felt his body, and decided it was hospital time. He called Kat, and Schuyler and Jim, and they met us at Palm Drive.

Geeks take care of their own.
